Gracie 2 Months & Sammy

Two months has gone by very fast. Gracie is doing great. Her acid reflux and colic are in check and she is a happy little girl. At her two month check up she was 22.5 inches long (50th percentile) and 12 pounds, 1.4 ounces (80th percentile). I finally got a picture of her and Sammy together and not even two seconds later he decided to give her a little love tap. I took Sammy to decorate Christmas cookies - I do not recomment to any mother of a 2 year old - what a diaster. He also drew his first drawing for his daddy on his birthday.

Our First Christmas Celebration and More

Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit - so we celebrated Christmas last week. Sammy also went to see Santa - he didn't like him or hate him - but at least he sat on his lap. Gracie didn't see Santa, but maybe next year.

Grace - 6 Weeks

Well - at about 5 weeks Grace took a turn to being a very fussy baby - we took her to the doctor yesterday and she either has acid refulx or colic - we are working through it and are hoping within a few weeks she will be much better. At the doctors office they checked her weight and she weighed in at 11 pounds 1 ounce!

November, November

Well November was a fun month at the Cole household. Giddu and Grandma came for a visit, we had Thanksgiving and Brady came to see us as well. Sammy and Grace are doing great!

Grace - 4 Weeks

Gracie is thriving at 4 weeks - we went to the doctor and she weighed in at 9 pounds and 6.6 (75th percentile) ounces and grew to 20.75 inches long (50th percentile).

Giddu and Grandma Came to Visit

Giddu and Grandma Millie came to see Grace and Sammy - we all had a great week together and Giddu put this video together of the pictures they took! Enjoy!

Happy Halloween

Brrr it was a cold Halloween - Sammy had fun - he went to a few neighbors houses. What he liked the most was our doorbell ringing and seeing all the kids dressed up! He was our little Irish football player. Grace just snoozed all evening long!

Grace - 1 Week

Grace had a great first week - she is a half ounce over her birth weight and grew an inch. Now she is 7 pounds, 8.5 ounces and 20 inches long. She is sleeping like a champ - the last two nights she went down at 10:00 and didn't wake up until 3:45 and 3:15 - mama can handle that!

Grace's First Day Home

We made it through the first day extremely well. Grace is a very laid back little girl - as long as her tummy is full and she is warm - she is good to go. She slept in her own crib - she went down around 10:30 and woke mommy up at 1:00 and 5:00 am - then we did not hear from her again until 9:00 am - if this keeps up we will all be very happy!

Grace has Arrived

On October 20th, 2009 we were blessed with our little angel Grace Lisbeth Cole. She arrived at 7:49 am, she weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 inches long. Our stay at the hospital was great. She is an incredible eater and sleeper - they had to wake her 2 of the mornings in the nusery when it was time to eat. Sammy did not like seeing his mommy in the hospital - and showed a tiny bit of interest in his sister, but for the most part he ignored her. We are very excited to go home and see how Grace adapts!
